Dates:	LeBlanc dates the first 22 issues between 1918 and Apr. 1920 based on the Street & Smith ledgers; however, Library of Congress copies were received 1899-1903, and other documentation (including the finding aid for the Syracuse S&S archive) suggests that LeBlanc may have made an error in his reading of the dates. For now, LeBlanc's dates are still used here, but they should be viewed with skepticism.

Physical Description:	Cover is beige or off white with black letters and fleur de lis design.
Notes / Commentary:	LeBlanc never saw one of these (or saw one advertised), and speculated that they may have been issues in cloth or never published at all. His listing, consisting of the first 22 titles, was based on the Street & Smith ledgers archived at Syracuse University. Lydia Schurman confirmed that this really was a paper-covered series by consulting the collection at the Library of Congress; nos. 33, 42 and 46 were added as a result of this research. No. 43 was added based on an entry in the Catalogue of Title Entries of Books volume 35.
