The LeBlanc listing was incomplete and contained only three numbered titles ("4. Main-Travelled Roads," "10. Is This Your Son, My Lord?" and "20. The Heart of the Old Hickory and Other Stories of Tennessee") and five unnumbered titles ("The Dream Child," "A Spoil of Office," "Jason Edwards," "Who Lies?" and "Pray You Sir, Whose Daughter?"). It was accompanied by hand-written notes listing further numbers (16, 19-30 and 33).

The numbers missing from the original LeBlanc listing: believed to be 1-7 were referenced in an advertisement from The Bookseller and Newsman, v. 10, n. 2, Feb. (1893), p. 19. The numbers missing from the original LeBlanc listing: 8-9 were referenced in an advertisement from International Bookseller v. 1, no. 27, Oct 1 (1892), p. 439. #11 "Redbank" found in an article in The Advocate from Topeka, Kansas, May 3, 1893: p. 11. No. 17 was added from a bookseller's listing corroborated by a sighting by F. Thurston, Bennington VT. The numbers missing from the original LeBlanc listing: 24-51 were referenced in an advertisement from The Bookseller and Newsman, v. 11, no. 12, Dec. (1894), p. 26.
