Publisher's Blurb: "The popular line of 10 cent books though comparatively new, has firmly rooted itself in the favor of a larger percentage of the reading public who delight in tales of detectives' adventures. They detail the adventures of detectives in the employ of the United States Government. There are tales of Treasury Robberies, of Mail Train Loots, of Smuggling, and on many other subjects, equally interesting. The adventures of DICK NICHOLS are interesting in the extreme. Do not fail to read them. Published in the New Secret Service Series only."
Contents:

These are mostly reprints from the Old Cap. Collier Library published by Norman L. Munro in the 1880's and 90's. LeBlanc was unable to determine the numbers of the Old Cap. Collier Library stories used in these reprintings.

Notes / Commentary:

LeBlanc examined Nos. 1, 8, 14 and 20. Dates have been interpolated from those and from ads for the later issues. A note on the cover of Nos. 1 and 6 says "The Secret Service Series was published originally by Street & Smith in 1891 at 25¢ retail. The present new series is at the popular price of 10 cents."
