Notes / Commentary:

LeBlanc's listing contained only nos. 20, 35, 37 (La Veuve), 40 and 41. He only examined no. 20.

Some data suggests that certain numbers were reused and that at least one title was printed in multiple positions within the series; however, it is also possible that one of the two 23's is actually 25 and one of the two 37's is actually 38.

Some dates of examined issues are non-consecutive (for example, note June 20, 1892 on no. 12 and July 26, 1892 on no. 10).

No. 7 was added based on Cary Sternick's notes at georgewpeck.com. Nos. 6, 10, 12-13, 16, 18-19, 22, 24, 30, 32, 37 (Aurette) and 43 were added based on digitized copies in the Internet Archive. Nos. 2-3, 5, 8, 11, 15, 21, 23 (both titles), 26, 28-29, 31 and 37 (An Odd Situation, plus the full title and backing story for La Veuve) were added from The American Catalogue, 1890-1895. Nos. 14 and 27 were added based on WorldCat records. Nos. 34, 36, 39, 42 and 44 come from a listing on page 20 of The Newsman, v. 10, no. 8 (August, 1893); this source also lists La Veuve as no. 39, suggesting that the "37" provided by LeBlanc and The American Catalogue was in error, since no other title for no. 39 has been located. Men, Women and Emotions was added from an advertisement in The Publishers' Weekly no. 1119 (July 8, 1893); no number was provided.
