Publisher's Blurb: | "Dodd, Mead & Company have published, from time to time, limited editions, in paper covers, of the works of E. P. Roe. All of these have been quickly sold and have entirely disappeared from the market with the exception of three recently published, of which small numbers still remain. The aggregate sale of these limited editions has reached the large total of Three Quarters of a million copies. In response to a very general demand, they now announce a limited edition, in more convenient form, of fourteen of the most popular works of this author, to be well printed and attractively bound, and issued in paper covers at 50 cents per volume. These will be published as numbers of our Library of Fiction as follows:" |
Physical Description: | LeBlanc examined No. 10: Plain cover in one color (light green) with lettering in darker shade of same color. |
Notes / Commentary: | LeBlanc's listing contained only nos. 5-18. No. 1 was added based on a bookseller's listing. No. 4 was added from a WorldCat record. It seems very likely, based on an advertisement in The American Bookseller, v. XXIX, no. 3, p. 42, that no. 2 or 3 is Barriers Burned Away, but the numbering could not be confirmed. |
