|Notes / Commentary:||
A. C. Meyer & Co. was a manufacturer of patent medicines with a publishing department. The Continental Library was given away free with wrappers from the various medicines.
LeBlanc's original listing was based on an unnumbered list of eleven titles, for which LeBlanc knew that the final entry corresponded to issue 12 of the series. Subsequent discoveries (a digitized copy of No. 4 at Villanova University, and a Google Books listing for Nos. 5-6) suggest that this list corresponds to issues 2-12 of the series, and the listing here is numbered accordingly. The content of No. 1 is currently unknown.
