This series is not listed in LeBlanc; an advertisement on page 734 of the November 14, 1891 Publishers' Weekly advertises that 33 titles are available in the series, but does not list them in detail.
Fifteen unnumbered titles (Human Brutes, Abbe Mouret's Transgression, The Joys of Life, A Love Episode, Nana, L'Assommoir, Nana's Daughter, A Dream of Love, Pot-Bouille, The Ladies' Paradise, Nana's Brother Germinal, Agnes : A Story of the Streets, The Blue Veil, The Virgin Widow, and A Frolicsome Girl) were added from an advertisement in the front of an 1889 edition of Through Mighty Waters Saved by Duke Bailie. Unnumbered entries for The Conquest of Plassans and The Bride of the First Night come from The Publishers' Weekly, September 26, 1891, page 488. Unnumbered entries for The Fortune of the Rougons, Therese Raquin, The Rush for the Spoil, The Romance of Marriage, A Babe in Bohemia, The Clemenceau Case and Fortunio come from an advertisement in The Newsman, February, 1891, page 17. The unnumbered entry for Money was added from an advertisement in The Newsman, May, 1891, page 24. Nos. 21-28 were added from a listing on page 21 of the April, 1891 issue of The Newsman (v.
