First Sentence: When people heard the name of Professor Draycott they pictured to themselves a man past middle life, and they were surprised to find on meeting the gentleman, that he was very little over thirty, and looked younger than that.
Last Sentence: Professor Draycott's friends have remarked that he has ceased to allude in his lectures to a fact which he formerly emphasized, namely, that every human being possesses the power of hypnotism.
