Good News, v. 11, no. 268, June 22, 1895 (Issue) |
Date: |
June 22, 1895 |
First Sentence: |
Our servant girl has the "histrionics," if you know what that is--and she's got it bad at that. |
Last Sentence: |
"Histrionics" seems to be a first-class tramp dispenser, and as there promises to be an unusually large crop of them this summer, I don't know but what it would be a good plan to buy Roxanna a tin dagger and a copy of Shakespeare's tragedies and encourage her to nobler and most startling efforts in the dramatic field--though I must admit she is somewhat of a terror as it is. |
