In these days of jubilees, centenaries, and celebrations of all kinds, it is surprising that the centenary of the "almighty dollar" should have passed unnoticed; yet no attempt has been made to celebrate the hundredth anniversary of the birth of the uncrowned monarch of the United States. |
Last Sentence: |
On the reverse side is a smaller eagle, his wings stretched upward; there is neither shield nor riband, but over the eagle's head, in old English characters, are the words, "In God We Trust." |
