"I think, friends," exclaimed Patrick Cassidy, the most prominent of the passengers assembled in the fore-cabin of the Silver Dream--"I think, friends, that assortment should last us the voyage;" and he indicated a large box which each had contributed toward filling with jams, sardines, and other preserves not supplied by the ship. |
