They were two strangers, evidently unused to the wilderness, who came in on to the Raquette Lake by the Saranac route, and camped about in "spots" for nearly two weeks, fishing a little, hunting a little, just enough to live by, and seeming to enjoy the pure air, good water, and glorious scenery to be found there. |
