First Sentence: A few months ago, a celebrated will case was on trial in Cincinnati, Ohio, involving some hundreds of thousands of dollars, wherein some of the dissatisfied heirs of old John Bates, the former proprietor of theaters in Cincinnati, Louisville, and St. Louis, were trying to break the will, upon the ground that Mr. Bates was of unsound mind.
