First Sentence: If there is one marked and most beautiful distinction between the mental characteristics of the two sexes, it is noticeable in the fact that the female possesses a more perfect and living faith.
Last Sentence: I cannot but believe that this wondrous faith is a special gift from our Creator, and is the most precious jewel in the crown of "the last, best gift" to man, without which both nations and individuals would be "poor indeed."
