First Sentence: Why in the name of heaven it is that every so-called scientific man who picks up in the woods or swamp some common weed that every country boy has known all his life, should go off and straightway announce it as a great discovery, and tack his own name to it, with a Latin or Greek adjective added also, I never could conceive.
