It was a bright summer morning, with the dew sparkling and the sun shining, and the birds all talking to each other at once, in the trees whose great branches shadowed Silverwing's fairy dell, and the good little fairy was having a talk with a huge dragon-fly and two or three indolently disposed butterflies, when suddenly she held up her wand, warningly. |
