First Sentence: In a sketch entitled "Caught in a Trap," written a short time since for the New York Weekly, I introduced a friend of mine named Bob Weldon, and as another instance of his daring comes to my mind, I hasten to present it to the public through the columns of the same valuable sheet. Bob and I had spent several months up in the Blackfeet country, trapping, and had been very successful--so successful, in fact, that it became necessary for me to carry our furs down the river to the fort; so it was agreed that we should start on a Sunday. (Good News edition)
