First Sentence: Fellow-sisters and brothers, it is with no mental reservation, secret evasion or manifest aberration of mind that we at this time take up the cudgle [sic] which has had so long a rest, and with Mr. Lo, who is now lying low, go on the war-path in behalf of all those "persons" who, as men, are supposed to be the lords of creation, and but a little lower than the angels in their own estimation.
