First Sentence: If you are going to anything, do it promptly.
Last Sentence: And if you follow out the prompt, punctual, persevering method of doing everything when it needs to be done, there are ninety-nine chances out of a hundred that you will be successful in life; and if you are not, you will have the delightful consciousness of knowing that you have deserved success, and you will not be continually beset by the remopseful thought that if you had only come to time-if you had only been on hand-you would have achieved success instead of failure.
