First Sentence: My uncle, Sir Chas Weatheringay, was an old gentleman who owned a large estate in Berkshire and was very much respected by the people of his neighborhood.
Last Sentence: The moral lesson to be derived form this story of my uncle's life is a warning of how easily a man may destroy his own happiness by seeking to injure his neighbor.
