Edition Description: There are many Christian workers who are not willing to do little things, but he believed that it was the neglect of these little things that keeps back the blessing. He told of a child, aged four years, who after hearing an address on the importance of coming to Christ, left her mother's side and going up to the speaker, held up her little hand, saying, 'Will you please lead me to Jesus?' and of another little boy who he himself saw under very deep conviction of sin. The great result which might follow from working among the children was illustrated by reference to a person in Illinois who, at the age of twenty-eight was unable to read, but who, drawn to a Sunday-school by his little child, had been the means of establishing no less than 1,180 Sabbath-schools in the Western prairies. Many of these schools have since grown into churches. If God should call for an angel to volunteer to go to earth and spend fifty years in order to save the soul of one little street Arab, he believed there would not be an angel left in Heaven for five minutes, so eager would they be to undertake such a mission. And yet, while there are hundreds of thousands of souls perishing, Christians are saying, "Lord, send some one else; don't send me.' He called upon all who would join him in individual effort to bring one soul to Christ within the week, to stand up. Some thousands of the audience responded to this appeal; and Mr. Moody closed by thanking God for the ready mind which had been manifested, and by praying for a large blessing on their efforts - Mr. Moody's in London
