Edition Description: "Jesus has conquered death. He went into the grave. I fancy I see the devil laughing at Him, and saying: 'Ha, ha! I've got Him now; He's my victim. He will have to pay tribute to me.' But wait till the next Sunday morning dawns. Before any one gets to the place, messengers come down and roll away the stone, and He who was killed on Friday night bursts asunder the bars of death, and it has now no more power over us. Isn't that good news? I pity the man who doesn't know anything about this Gospel. I like a religion that gives me some comfort, so that when I lay away a loved friend, I know a voice will come to the cemetery and call that friend back. Some years ago I was going to preach a funeral sermon, and I thought I would preach one as nearly in Christ's own words as I could. But when I went to look through His sayings, I found He never preached a funeral sermon. He was the resurrection and the life. And believing in Him, I know that when I leave this clay aside I shall live on and on and on, and shall be in the presence of God evermore." - Mr. Moody's Brooklyn Sermon
