---|---|
Subject / Tag: |
Dialogues, English |
Notes: |
This number still appeared originally in cream or buff wrappers, although later editions were enclosed in orange. From now on, the Dialogues contain from 85 to 96 pages and average over 90. Louis Legrand was still given as editor of No. 4, but thereafter his name was omitted. Beadle & Co. published No. 4 from 118 William Street. It was put on sale April 13, 1866, and was deposited for copyright June 15, 1866. The cut on the cover illustrates the dialogue whose title is given above. Reissues of this and all succeeding numbers came from the various publishing addresses. --Johannsen, A. House of Beadle and Adams |
