According to the House of Beadle & Adams this issue was published on September 9, 1862:
"A reprint of 'The Forest Rangers; or, The Fugitives of the Border,' which appeared in the New York Weekly XVII, No. 44, September 9,1862"
This would mean the issue came out on Tuesday and would be a deviation from the Weekly's normal Thursday release schedule. This is potentially an error on the part of the House of Beadle and Adams. Yet, without further information, it is impossible to be certain. Until more information arises, the issue has been dated as Thursday September 11, 1862.
