Notes: |
"The first edition contains also Rose Kennedy's "Myrtle, the Child of the Prairie," but when Dime Novels no. 23 was issued with pictorial covers, "Winifred Winthrop" was expanded from 70 pages to 100, and the second story was omitted. "Myrtle" originally appeared as the one and only Half-Dime Novelette, and had 64 pages, just as in the first edition of Dime Novels no. 23."--Johannsen, A.
