Notes / Commentary: The Street & Smith ledgers at Syracuse University give odd dates. LeBlanc calculated dates by working backwards on a weekly basis from No. 20, which is dated Oct. 31, 1899. This may be wrong. Only two in the ledgers have dates and it is not known whether or not they are cover dates. No. 15 shows May 3 without a year and No. 21 shows Oct. 12 without the year. The last issue, No. 25 shows January 4, 1901. This as in many series published by S&S may be an add-on following the discontinuance of the series. This is true in many S&S series.
