Notes / Commentary:

Volumes 1 and 2 were published by Charles D. Sibley & Son. Volumes 3 and 4 were published by Dike Book Co. All issues first published by Charles Sibley were reprinted by Dike Book Company without change in dates. These reprints can be identified by Dike Book Company ad on back cover.

Remainders were sold in job lots by Hartz & Gray, Box 407, New York after Dike Book Co. failed.

LeBlanc's summary listing stated that volume 3 ended on January 11, 1897 and volume 4 began on January 18. However, the dates of individual issues suggest otherwise, and so the summary here has been updated accordingly.

The original LeBlanc listing did not include cross-references to Union Library #13-23. These cross-references have been added based on likely title/author matches. The listing was also incomplete, including 36 issues from Vol. 1, only No. 21 from Vol. 2, only 1-5, 7-10, 12-21, 26-28 and 32 from Vol. 3, and 1-3 from Vol 4 (plus A Spanish Plot, whose number was unknown).
