Examined only one without a cover, No. 3. The Rainbow of the Delta Tau Delta magazine for January, 1888 says of Country Ballads: "This is the second volume of the Chimney Corner series of popular books at small prices, which would introduce them to a wide circle of readers were it not for the fact that the collection is unauthorized, and published in defiance of the copy-right laws, which will no doubt lead to its speedy suppression."
